Big Sur, California adVANture

This trip was a bit different for me. My October trip to Oregon had to be cancelled. I knew I needed a change of perspective but had nowhere in mind. With a three day window of time between commitments at home, without reservations, an agenda or anyone to visit, I headed south. I wondered what signs I would see that would lure me into overnighting...somewhere. The worst case scenario I figured, would be to stay in a WalMart parking lot. On a long trip, one night at a Walmart wouldn't be so hard to take, but with only two nights out, that would put a serious damper on my quest for nature. For some reason, Big Sur popped into my mind.
